Vanguard Impact
Vanguard Society members responded to the emergency in Turkey and Syria following the tragic earthquakes. Their generous donations were used to fund rescue work and meant that we could send staff and resources to the area and rescue as many animals as possible from danger.
Those vital funds enabled us to respond quickly and help animals. This sweet dog was found in the rubble at one of the earthquake epicentres in Elbistan, Turkey. She had gone for days without food and was suffering tremendously from a broken leg. The team rushed her to the closest veterinary clinic for surgery, and PETA is payed the bills.
